The Leaders Roundtable is first and foremost a forum that brings key community leaders together for dialogue about what it takes for all students to be successful. We work closely with the Multnomah County districts. The Roundtable does not run programs or provide direct service, but
rather uses its influence and advocacy to break down barriers that stand in
the way of student success. The Roundtable defines its role as follows:
- Develop a shared understanding of:
--Student success
--The changes required for student success
--Implications for the community
- Foster catalytic relationships that lead to opportunities, action and results
- Foster alignment and enhancement of student success activities and resources
- Foster and promote focused engagement, advocacy and action that transforms education, community services and children’s lives
- Measure and reassess the role and activities of the Leaders Roundtable in order to ensure continuous learning and improvement.
